Vintage Lobster Pot Buoy

These lobster pot marker buoys were originally made to mark a lobsterman’s pots. They were made by hand and painted in the lobsterman’s own colours which would be registered with the coast guard, ensuring all pots were harvested by the correct boat.    From Nova Scotia, Canada, it has a rope to the top to tie to the pot. 

Use as a doorstop or decorative piece.
